Teaser time! Chapter 2 will be called “He that holds my first kiss…” Here’s a tiny snippet to hopefully tide you over until I can flush out the rest of the chapter.

Mercedes’ POV:

I couldn’t help but be drawn to him. His big-lipped smile, his Southern twang, and his gorgeous green eyes had me following his every move. It was like he was a magnet and I was a piece of steel. Naturally I tried my best to be discreet, but by the time the next summer rolled around I was convinced Sam Evans was the keeper of my first kiss. I didn’t know the when, where, or how, but all that didn’t matter when I knew the “who.” The “who” is the most important part because everyone knows a girl can’t go and give her first kiss to just anyone.
